Some people can do almost anything

Consider e.g. our advisor John Howard Somsen [2353] from Holyoke, MA. USA.

We thought he already new everything about computers. That was a mistake because recently, John obtained the MCSE-certificate. This means that he can now call himself Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer. He is now really our Internet-guru!

However, John's interest and study enthusiasm appear to be limitless.

It happens that he is so involved in his local Roman-Catholic parish, that he followed the training for pastoral assistant. And with success! From now on he can lead in celebrations and do pastoral work (something that he actually did for a number of years already).

Our congratulations to John, who will, no doubt, pursue further studies.

Camping weekend in IJzerlo

Again we were in IJzerlo from the 12th-15th of August 1999. We had a great time.

Wim Somsen [518] wrote a splendid report and we have beautiful photo's.

All is too nice to hide it in a small corner of this magazine, so we save it for Somsen Horizon number 5 as a warming up.

Who knows there will even more Somsen campers participate in the summer of 2000!
